The year 5 6 7 and 8 had school camp last week. We enjoyed the kayaking, lazar tag flying fox, Burma trail, water slide, the orienteering and the air rifle shooting. It was a very fun week. Mr McNaughten went down the water slide as well. On the Burma trail the parents tried to scare us but they weren’t very scary. Mr Brockelsby was in a tree with a big stick and Finn and Scott took his stick off him.

COOL COLOURFUL CAMP

Last week the three senior classes went to Mangawhai Camp. We did a whole lot of activities. One of our favourites was the flying fox. It’s a long thick wire, which you attach your safety harness to and then launch off and fly down! Our next favourite activity was kayaking in the sea. We saw sting rays flow on past underneath the blue kayak. The funniest part was flipping the kayak and running along all the kayaks! Last but not less was the dark scary Burma trail. Actually it wasn’t that scary. It was more fun than scary. The parents would find good hiding places and try and scare us! Overall the camp turned out great and we had an awesome time!
